A new type of educational institution will appear in the country in April, writes Kotaku. The school will be located in Tokyo, in the Shibuya area. It will have 40 gaming PCs with Intel Core i7-11700 processors and NVIDIA RTX 3070 graphics cards. It is not clear which games the schoolchildren will play.
Cybersportsmen and representatives of the gaming industry will become teachers at the school. At the same time, students will study not only cybersport disciplines, but also general education ones. Future graduates will be able to work as virtual reality developers, game writers, designers, special effects creators and programmers. The school is sponsored by Japan’s largest telecommunications company NTT and the Tokyo Verdi football club.
