Great Wall has confirmed that the large GWM Poer KingKong pickup truck will soon appear at Russian dealers. Sales in Russia will begin in the spring of 2023.
This is the largest and most expensive Great Wall pickup truck. Recall that GWM Wingle 7 and GWM Poer are currently offered in our country from 2,799,000 and 3,449,000 rubles, respectively. The price of GWM Poer KingKong will be announced closer to the start of sales.
GWM Poer KingKong in Russia will be prepared for the relevant operating conditions. All cars will be additionally treated with “anticorrosive”, and their equipment will include a package of “warm options”, which includes heating of the steering wheel, side mirrors and rear window, front seats and wiper rest areas.
In Russia, a gasoline version with a 190-horsepower 2-liter engine and a 150-horsepower diesel version will be available, which develop a torque of 360 and 400 Nm, respectively. In both cases, a six-speed manual transmission and a plug-in all-wheel drive with a reduction gear and a rear differential lock will be installed.
This is a real giant in its class: the dimensions of the car are 5641 x 1880 x 1815 mm. The length of the cargo compartment reaches 1.8 m, and the maximum load capacity is 975 kg. The car is equipped by default with a powerful roll bar that protects the cab from damage.
The car received fog lights with automatic cornering light, light and rain sensors, a multimedia system with a 10-inch display, all-round cameras, a full 220-volt outlet, emergency braking and rollover prevention systems, as well as other electronic driver assistants.
