Intel’s XeSS supersampling technology, which aims to compete with Nvidia’s DLSS and AMD’s FSR, may become much more widespread in the near future.
The fact is that Intel has released the XeSS Unreal Engine plug-in, which allows game developers to integrate the technology into their games based on Unreal Engine 4 and Unreal Engine 5. The plug-in simplifies the integration of technology, which will allow developers to spend less effort on the process. At one time, Nvidia did the same with DLSS.
True, we recall that although XeSS works conditionally on any video cards, the technology still works better on Intel adapters due to the use of a different algorithm. But Intel still has problems with the popularity of Arc video cards.
