At the beginning of next year, Intel will add cheap Alder Lake processors of the Core i5 and Core i3 series (and judging by the first tests, some models look very convincing against the background of competitors AMD), as well as inexpensive motherboards based on B660 and H670 chipsets. The source has already obtained a price list for the entire line of MSI motherboards based on the B660 chipset. And the prices, I must say, are quite attractive. While the base models on Intel Z690 start at around $ 200, the most expensive MSI motherboard on Intel B660 is priced at $ 260. This is MAG B660 Tomahawk WiFi.
A complete list of models with prices is as follows:
- MAG B660 Tomahawk WiFi – $ 260;
- MAG B660M Mortar WiFi – $ 240;
- MAG B660M Mortar – $ 220;
- MAG B660M Bazooka – $ 200;
- PRO B660-A – $ 210;
- PRO B660M-A-WiFi – $ 210;
- PRO B660M-A – $ 190;
- PRO B660M-G – $ 140;
- PRO B660M-B – $ 130;
- PRO B660M-E – $ 120
It is important to note that all of these motherboards are designed for DDR5 RAM, and this can be a problem, as this memory, unlike DDR4, is now in severe shortage. However, there is hope that by the time new motherboards appear on the market, the situation with DDR5 supplies will improve.
