Who doesn’t want to get money easily? But it often happens that people get cheated in the name of earning easy money. In the last few months, many people have been cheated by such fraudsters who make false promises of earning money by working from home. The method of these fraudsters is that they lure people to earn a lot of money with very little hard work. But in reality, people fall into their trap and lose their money. Recently, a woman in Gudamba area of Lucknow also became a victim of such a fraud. She lost Rs 1.75 lakh.

made victim like this

On September 14, Deepika Maurya, a resident of Phoolbagh Colony in Lucknow, received a call from a stranger. The man offered Deepika a very good opportunity to work from home. He said that all Deepika had to do was like and comment on a post on a mobile app, and in return she would get money. Deepika thought this was true because in the last few years, the opportunities to work from home have increased a lot. Thus, Deepika fell into this trap.

At first, Deepika just had to like and comment on the post. After a few days, she also received some money. Happy with this, the fraudsters asked her to invest money in a company. They said that this would give Deepika a lot of money. Deepika did not try to withdraw her earlier money, but instead invested more money. She transferred Rs 1.75 lakh to the fraudsters’ account.

Then I realized I was cheating

But when Deepika tried to withdraw her money, the fraudsters refused. They said that Deepika would have to deposit more money, only then she would be able to withdraw her money. Then Deepika understood that she had been cheated. She immediately lodged a complaint with the police and cyber crime police.

Although the government and police have warned people against such frauds many times, people still get cheated in the pursuit of making easy money. It is important to have a job, but you should be careful. If someone offers you a job online, then get complete information about that company or person. Especially if a stranger is calling you and offering you a job, then you should be very careful.
