Honor has announced the launch of its HONOR 200 series in India. This series will be launched on July 18, 2024. It will have two phones – HONOR 200 and HONOR 200 Pro. What will be special in HONOR 200 series
The HONOR 200 series will feature a 6.78-inch quad-curved display for immersive viewing. The HONOR 200 Pro will be available in Ocean Cyan and Black colour options, while the HONOR 200 will come in Moonlight White and Black. Both the smartphones in the series will run on MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 14. The interface is powered by HONOR’s proprietary MagicLM on-device AI large language model.
The listings for the HONOR 200 and HONOR 200 Pro can already be seen on Amazon India. You can get information about the phone’s launch by pressing the ‘Notify’ button. The listing shows the back design of the phone, which has three rear cameras and 5G connectivity.
Honor 200 series specifications
Honor has not yet given much information about the phones coming to India, but this series has already been launched worldwide. The global version has a 6.7-inch Full HD + curved OLED display with a resolution of 2664 x 1200 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 4,000 nits. Talking about the processor, this series is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, which is paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage.
The specialty of the HONOR 200 series is its camera. There are three cameras on the back – 50 megapixel main camera, 12 megapixel wide angle camera and 50 megapixel telephoto camera. There is also a 50 megapixel camera on the front for selfie and video call. For strong performance, a 5200mAh battery has been provided which supports 100W fast charging. Apart from this, these phones have also been given in-display fingerprint sensor, dual SIM support, 5G connectivity and special certification to reduce eye fatigue.

HONOR 200 series also offers many special AI features with the new operating system MagicOS 8.0. One of these features is Magic Portal, which understands the messages received by the user and takes them to the right apps, making it easier to use the phone. The second feature is Magic Ring. It makes multitasking easy on multiple devices simultaneously. You can do eight things simultaneously, such as using another device’s network, sharing screens and sharing files. There is also Magic Capsule, which allows quick use of important functions like calls and alarms. At the same time, Magic Anywhere Door provides a way to transfer files easily by just drag-and-drop. Apart from this, there is also a 3-finger swipe feature. It allows global search on any device with just one swipe, so that you can work easily.
