Tracking Your Passport Application Online:

If you’ve applied for a passport online, you can easily check its current status using various methods:

1. Passport Seva Website:
   • Go to https://www.passportindia.gov.in/.
   • Click on “Track Application Status.”
   • Enter your 15-digit File Number and date of birth.
   • Click on “Track Status.”
   • Your application status will be displayed on the screen.
2. Passport Seva Mobile App:
   • Download the Passport Seva App from Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
   • Log in to the App.
   • Click on “Application Status.”
   • Enter your File Number and Date of Birth.
   • Click on “Track Status.”
   • Your application status will be displayed on the screen.
3. SMS:
   • Type the 15-digit File Number and send an SMS to 51969 from your registered mobile number.
   • You will receive an SMS with the application status.
4. IVRS:
   • Call 1800-258-1800 (Toll Free) or +91-11-24300666 (Landline).
   • Follow the IVRS instructions.
   • Enter your File Number and Date of Birth.
   • Your application status will be communicated to you.
5. PSK:
   • You can also check the application status by visiting your nearest Passport Seva Kendra (PSK).

Important Reminders:

• After submitting the application, Police Verification (PV) and Passport Office (PO) Verification (PoV) may take some time.
