Toyota Innova Hycross Top Models on Hold Due to High Demand

Toyota fans, listen up! Bookings for the top-of-the-line hybrid variants of the Innova Hycross, ZX and ZX(O), have been paused again.

High Demand, Long Wait Times

Launched in December 2022, the Innova Hycross has been a hot seller in India. However, the popularity has led to a long waitlist, particularly for the top hybrid models. The current wait time for these variants is a whopping 15 months!

Temporary Stoppage to Manage Waitlist

To manage the waitlist and customer expectations, Toyota has temporarily stopped taking orders for the ZX and ZX(O) hybrid variants. This will allow them to focus on fulfilling existing orders and hopefully bring down the wait time.

Mid-Level Hybrid Models Still Available

Don’t despair if you’re interested in the Innova Hycross hybrid. Bookings are still open for the mid-level VX and VX(O) hybrid models with a wait time of around 3 months. These models come at a slightly lower price point compared to the ZX and ZX(O).

New GX(O) Variant Launched

In other news, Toyota recently introduced the new GX(O) variant, starting at Rs 20.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This variant offers features like a 10.1-inch touchscreen system, automatic climate control, and dual-tone interiors. It’s available in both 7-seater and 8-seater options and comes with a choice of a 2.0-liter petrol engine or a strong hybrid engine.
