Companies that have taken judicial steps against Apple include Facebook’s parent company Meta, Microsoft, Elon Musk’s X, music streaming platform Spotify and Match Group. Those companies have opposed Apple’s new app policy and raised the question that the iPhone selling company has not followed the court’s order to approve alternative methods of payment.
Epic Games has already protested
Earlier, Apple had to face opposition from Epic Games on the new policy of the app. Epic Games, the company that operates the Fortnite game, has also opposed Apple’s new app policy and now it has joined the Wall Street giants in this fight. Actually, Apple has planned to collect commission on payments made outside its App Store. Other tech giants are opposing this plan of Apple.

American government can also sue
The US government can also file a lawsuit against Apple in a separate case. According to a Bloomberg report, the US government may drag Apple to court for violating antitrust laws. According to the report, this case can be filed today on Thursday. The US government alleges that Apple is preventing competing companies from accessing the hardware and software features of its iPhone, which is a violation of antitrust laws.
