Meizu presented a wireless charger with high output power and original design. The new product was released as part of the PANDAER accessories brand and is positioned as a docking station for Meizu 20 Pro, but is also compatible with other devices of the branded series, as well as with gadgets from other brands.
The accessory will produce a maximum power of 50 W only in conjunction with the latest generation Meizu flagships. When charging Meizu 18 Pro, it will “accelerate” only to 40 W, and in conjunction with Meizu 17 Pro – up to 27 W. In addition, the new product supports the Qi standard, so it can also be used to charge an iPhone (although the power will be minimal).
A cooling system with a built-in fan, which the manufacturer positions as “powerful but silent,” is responsible for removing heat from the induction coil. According to Meizu, this cooler improves heat dissipation by more than 50% compared to a passive radiator. Thanks to the vertical position of the stand, the smartphone can be used to watch short videos on social networks while charging.
The price of Meizu PANDAER 50W Air-Cooled Charger in China is $42, the accessory will go on sale on March 5.
