Kia unveils an MPV that is going to create a ruckus, hi-tech features with a lively look

Kia India has taken the wraps off its all new 3 row car and this MPV is very powerful and beautiful to look at. The styling and design of the Kia Carens is quite modern and the new vehicle looks more like an SUV than the MPV. The company claims that the new car will be one of the safest MPV in India, with excellent safety features. It has been built on Kia’s new design philosophy which comes with the signature tiger nose grille. The company has introduced this car in 6 and 7 seater seating arrangement and this 3-row MPV is claimed to come with the highest wheelbase in the segment.

Talking about the cabin, the Kia Carence has been given a clean and non-frills interior. Its dashboard has been designed very intelligently which looks great. The car’s dashboard features a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Apart from this, many other features like air purifier with wire protection, front ventilated seats and Bose speaker sound system have been given. The company has given multi-functional steering wheel and many smart features to the car in the car.

Strong Front and Back

The front and rear of the Kia Carence look strong. While slim LED headlamps with LED DRLs have been given in the front, LED taillamps have been installed in the rear. The wheel arches of the new Kia Carense have been fitted with plating cladding and the ground clearance apart from the flat roof makes it look like an SUV. This car has come with 6 airbags in all the variants and with it many more features like hill descent control and traction control have been given.

Turbo petrol and diesel engine options

While Kia India has not given much information about the engine of this MPV at the moment, the company has definitely given information that the Cars will be offered in turbo petrol and diesel engine options. Kia said that both these engines will be offered with 7-speed DCT and 6-speed automatic transmission respectively. In the Indian market, this MPV is going to compete with vehicles like Toyota Innova Crysta, MG Hector Plus and Hyundai Alcazar. Let us know that Kia India is going to launch the all-new Karens MPV in India in the first quarter of 2022.
