Xiaomi has announced the imminent start of sales on the Russian market of a new low-cost smartphone – Poco M5.
Russian users will be able to buy the Poco M5 starting October 3 at a special price and with an additional promotion for the first buyers.
The recommended retail price of the Poco M5 will be 14,990 rubles, but the first time the smartphone will be available at a price of 12,990 rubles for a version with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal flash memory. Version 4/128 GB will cost now 14,990 rubles, and later – 16,990 rubles.
In addition, buyers will be able to get the fully wireless Redmi Buds 3 Pro headphones for 1,990 rubles, which will cost 5,990 rubles separately.
Recall that Poco M5 debuted on the international market at the very beginning of September. The smartphone is equipped with an LCD screen with a diagonal of 6.58 inches, a frame rate of 90 Hz and a resolution of Full HD + (2400 x 1080 pixels), a 5 MP front camera, a triple main camera (50 MP, 2 and 2 MP). It is based on the hardware platform SoC MediaTek Helio G99.
The Poco M5 received a 5000 mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging, NFC, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, FM radio, and a standard headphone jack. The dimensions are 163.99 x 76.09 x 8.9 mm and the smartphone weighs 201 grams. The smartphone is running Android 12 operating system with MIUI 13 skin for Poco.
