8BitDo has released a retro Commodore 64 style keyboard with a joystick included

8BitDo has expanded its line of mechanical keyboards by releasing the new C64 model, featuring an original design inspired by the retro Commodore 64 computer. For greater immersion in the atmosphere of the 80s, the new product comes complete with a classic joystick.

The 87-key accessory features hot-swappable Kailh Box White V2 mechanical switches. The proprietary Ultimate Software V2 utility also allows users to reassign keys and their combinations at their discretion.

The device supports both wired and wireless connection methods (Bluetooth or USB adapter with a frequency of 2.4 GHz) – for this, there is a separate switch at the top of the keyboard. According to the manufacturer, the autonomy of the accessory is up to 200 hours.

The kit includes an additional block with two large red buttons, as well as an 80s-style joystick, which the company calls the “Super Stick.” It can be used for games or programmed to perform certain actions, such as launching applications.

The 8BitDo C64 Edition will go on sale in the US market on May 28 for $109.
