BMW is currently finalizing the 2024 BMW M5, which is currently being tested on the Nürburgring’s Nordschleife and on public roads.
This particular 2024 BMW M5 test car has a little less camouflage than before, giving a pretty good idea of the redesigned design. The front end stands out thanks to redesigned headlights as well as a new lower grille. BMW designers have also reshaped the air intakes at the front.
It’s a bit harder to spot the changes made to the rear of the 2024 BMW M5, but the taillights with new LED graphics are visible there. The shape of the bumper is also very different from the current model.
BMW will make a number of changes to the cabin of the 2024 M5, building on the company’s latest models, including the BMW 7-Series. But the main changes will be under the hood. According to carscoops, all signs point to the 2024 BMW M5 having the same base hybrid setup as the BMW XM, meaning a twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 will work alongside an electric motor. This transmission produces 738 hp. and 997 Nm in the flagship BMW XM Label Red, but the new M5 should get around 800 hp.
Previously BMW 5-Series 2024 first shown without camouflage.
