In the month of July, the retail inflation rate has been 6.71 percent. For the first half of the year 2022, from January to June, the government has increased the dearness allowance. After the data of All India Consumer Price Index for Industrial Workers, it is expected that dearness allowance can be increased by 5 percent. It is being said that dearness allowance of central employees can be increased by 39 percent. With the increase in dearness allowance, a tremendous increase in the salary of central employees is possible. Dearness allowance of central employees can be increased from 34 percent to 39 percent. This decision of the central government will affect 47 lakh employees and 68 lakh pensioners.
