New Delhi: For the last several days 5G Network discussion underway. Soon state telecom company BSNL will also launch 5G along with 4G. Other telecom companies are also testing 5G networks. In such a scenario, 5G network is likely to be available in India soon. Against this background, through the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI 5G network is planned to reach every household through electricity poles. Troy has sought feedback from the public on the use of street furniture such as power poles and bus stops to install 5G. Troy says the use of public street furniture will eliminate the need for new and larger mobile towers and fiberglass.

Troy has set April 20 as the deadline for comment and May 4 for the counter-consultation. Using electricity poles instead of mobile towers and fiber will cost less to install 5G network. Also 5G network and service will take less time to start. 5G network can be easily extended to rural and remote areas of the country. According to reports, 5G network will be easily available in small areas if street furniture is used. mmWave 5G band will be easily accessible. The fastest 5G network is available through the mmWave 5G band. However, its coverage is low.

5G speeds will also increase if technology is developed to deliver 5G through power poles. Also, the use of infrastructure such as electricity poles and street lights is likely to increase the revenue of other sectors such as the corporation. Troy said users need to pay attention to information such as the use of street furniture, the permission required for power supply under state electricity laws, and permission for small cells. Meanwhile, 5G network is expected to be available in India in the next few months. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had also informed about this in the budget.
