New Delhi: 5G on iPhones: Apple has finally announced that iPhones will officially get 5G support in India. iPhone users using Jio and Airtel connections have got 5G support from 11.30 pm on December 13. With the iOS 16.2 release, iPhone users in India will be able to take advantage of 5G network speeds in that region.
Apart from the iPhone 12, iPhone 13 and iPhone 14 series, the latest iPhone SE model also offers 5G network support. Currently users who are using 4G SIM card in their device do not need SIM card and data plan. This iPhone supports Airtel and Jio SIM.

Activate the 5G network
First, go to Software Update by tapping on General in your iPhone’s Settings. After this you will get the option to download iOS 16.2. Then accept the terms and conditions and download the update again.
