Zeekr, Geely’s premium sub-brand, which is being spun off into a separate company, has unveiled its second model. This is a large and luxurious Zeekr 009 minivan built on Geely’s SEA (Sustainable Experience Architecture) electric platform.
Zeekr 009 dimensions are 5209 x 2024 x 1856 mm with a wheelbase of 3205 mm. It received 20-inch wheels and air suspension, as well as an original front design with an original false grille and bright unusual optics.
There are several touchscreen displays in the cabin, which are used not only for entertainment, but also to control basic functions, such as the climate control system, power windows and window blinds.
Zeekr 009 will be produced in a single version with two electric motors and an all-wheel drive system. One electric motor with a total power of 544 hp is installed on the front and rear axles. The battery capacity is 116 kWh, which allows you to drive up to 676 km without recharging (according to the CLTC cycle). The maximum speed of the new minivan is 190 km/h.
In China, sales of Zeekr 009 will begin before the end of 2022 at a price of about $55,000.
