5.5 inch touch screen, five USB, HDMI, RJ45 and Android with the ability to install Ubuntu. Gole1 R mini mini PC introduced

On the Kickstarter site, a fundraiser for an unusual tiny Higole PC has started. The novelty is called Gole1 R mini.

The novelty is a very unusual device. There’s a small 5.5-inch touchscreen (no resolution listed), lots of ports, but the heart is a Rockchip RK3588 SoC and a PC running Android 12. You can install Ubuntu, though.

The underlying platform is quite productive – in AnTuTu 9 it scores more than 530,000 points. There is also 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB of flash memory, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, a 2500 mAh battery, and a set of ports represented by USB 3.0 (x4), HDMI-In, HDMI 2.1, USB-C, RJ45 and microSD card slot.

The company also has a Gole1 RN version without a screen and a battery, that is, it is a completely desktop version. It lacks speakers and a microphone, but there is room for an M.2 SSD.

The Gole1 RN starts at $300 on Kickstarter and the Gole1 R mini starts at $350.
