Samsung has announced the Odyssey OLED G84SB QHD curved monitor with 175Hz refresh rate at IFA 2022. The screen size of the new Samsung gaming monitor is 34-inches. Samsung says that this is the company’s first monitor, which is equipped with an OLED panel. It also gets quantum dot technology with 175Hz refresh rate. The company has also included AMD FreeSync in this monitor. The gaming monitor has True Black optimum color accuracy support and 99.3% DCI color gamut with RGB.

At present, its price has not been disclosed nor has it been clarified in which market this gaming monitor will be launched. However, it has been confirmed that the monitor will hit the global market in Q4 2022.
It has been given quantum dot technology for better brightness. Being a gaming monitor, it gets a high refresh rate of 175Hz and is also equipped with a response time of 0.1ms. The monitor has an aluminum frame and includes VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black technology. The company has given AMD FreeSync Premium in it.
The Odyssey OLED G8 sports an ultra-wide QHD panel with a resolution of 3,440 x 1,440 pixels, 100% color volume and 21:9 aspect ratio. The gaming monitor includes RGB and True Black optimum color accuracy support and a 99.3% DCI color gamut. The gaming monitor works on Samsung’s Smart Hub, which also offers entertainment and lifestyle options. Samsung Gaming Hub is also part of the features that guarantee variety and an immersive gaming experience. It has several gaming options, including Xbox, NVIDIA GeForce Now and Google Stadia. Amazon Lula support is also available exclusively in the US market.
The Samsung Odyssey OLED G8 Gaming Monitor can be used in various orientations. It has a Height Adjustable Stand (HAS) and also gets a tilt option for utmost ergonomic comfort for any gamer.
