In China, a new version of the popular (including in the Russian Federation) Chery Tiggo 8 Pro crossover has been declassified. It is called Chery Tiggo 8 Pro DP-i, the last characters indicate that it is a plug-in hybrid.
Chery Tiggo 8 Pro DP-i has three motors at once: a 1.5-liter SQRE4T15C turbocharged internal combustion engine charges the traction battery, which, in turn, feeds two electric motors – front and rear. The power of electric motors is 170 hp, the internal combustion engine is 156 hp. It turns out that the total power of the power plant is 326 hp. Drive, of course, full. The full power reserve is not reported, only the power reserve on pure electricity is known – 82 km (according to the NEDC measurement method).
Dimensions Chery Tiggo 8 Pro DP-i – 4745 x 1860 x 1747 mm, wheelbase length – 2710 mm. In terms of size, the hybrid is practically no different from the gasoline version (well, except that it is 2 cm higher).
Inside, the hybrid Tiggo 8 Pro has two 12.3-inch screens, designed in one block, a projection screen, leather interior, a panoramic roof, as well as L2 driver assistance systems. By the way, the car can be both 5- and 7-seater.
Sales of Chery Tiggo 8 Pro DP-i in China will start at the end of February, the expected cost is $25,700.
