Porsche has introduced a new sports car Porsche 911 Dakar, which is designed to drive not only on the track, but also off-road.
The Porsche 911 Dakar will be produced in a limited edition of 2,500 cars. The car received four-wheel drive and increased ground clearance. At the same time, at speeds above 170 km / h, the ground clearance will decrease automatically due to the height-adjustable suspension.
Acceleration from zero to 100 km / h takes 3.4 seconds, but because of the off-road tires, the maximum speed is limited to 240 km / h. The car received two new driving modes – Rally for driving on uneven surfaces and Offroad with automatic high ground clearance for driving on rough terrain and sand. At the same time, fuel consumption is 11.3 liters per 100 km.
The new Porsche 911 Dakar is equipped with specially developed Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain Plus tires in size 245/45 ZR 19 at the front and 295/40 ZR 20 at the rear. The tire features a 9 mm tread depth and reinforced sidewalls.
The Porsche 911 Dakar is equipped with a 3-liter six-cylinder twin-turbo engine producing 473 hp. with a maximum torque of 570 Nm. As standard, the engine is accompanied by an eight-speed PDK gearbox.
Also, the car received a protective body kit made of plastic, front air intakes with grilles, underbody protection, aluminum towing eyes and an original rear spoiler. On the roof, you can install a branded trunk with built-in additional spotlights, for which a 12-volt outlet is provided.
