Hyundai will soon introduce its three-row SUVs, the Alcazar and Tucson, in a new avatar. Currently, final testing is ongoing for the 2024 Hyundai Alcazar. It is expected to reach showrooms in the Indian market by May or June, while the Hyundai Tucson facelift could be launched in the country after June 2024.
Although the launch date for these two cars has not been announced by Hyundai yet, many details of both have been revealed. The Hyundai Tucson Facelift debuted in the global market only in 2023, and now it will come to India. Let’s delve into the information revealed about the new Alcazar and Tucson facelift.
2024 Hyundai Alcazar Facelift
Some cosmetic updates will be made to the three-row Hyundai Alcazar facelift, along with updated features. Its design may somewhat resemble the new Creta facelift. However, the style of its front grille, headlamp cluster, bumper, alloy wheels, rear taillights, and DRL (daytime running lights) will differ from the Creta.
In terms of features, the car may be equipped with a panoramic sunroof, a dual-screen setup, ventilated seats, dual-zone climate control, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance). The interior theme and seats of the new Alcazar will also undergo changes. However, the layout of the seats will remain unchanged.
The 2024 Alcazar will offer the option of both a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine (160bhp power output) and a 1.5-liter diesel engine (115bhp power output). Transmission options will remain the same as the old model.
2024 Hyundai Tucson Facelift
The design of the Hyundai Tucson facelift may resemble that of the Hyundai Kona. Updates will be made to the front grille, alloy wheels, and headlamps of the car. It will feature a single, large touchscreen for infotainment and a digital cluster. Additionally, updates will be made to the steering wheel and center console.
Regarding the engine, the new Tucson may feature a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine, generating 160bhp of power. This engine will replace the old 2.0-liter petrol engine. There will also be an option of a 2.0-liter diesel engine. Furthermore, an all-wheel-drive setup will be provided in the car.
