Honda Motorcycle has launched the OBD-II compliant 2023 Honda Activa 125 range in India. The company has brought Activa 125 with new updates, along with it has also launched new variant H-Smart.
Honda has brought Activa 125 in a total of four variants – Drum, Drum Alloy, Disc, H-Smart. Its drum variant has been priced at Rs 78,920, drum alloy at Rs 82,588, disc variant at Rs 86,093 and H-Smart at Rs 88,093.
Talking about the styling of the Honda Activa 125, it has been kept the same as before. It gets single pod headlight, apron for turn indicators, body colored front fender, chrome garnishing on body panels and apron. It has been brought in a total of 5 color options.
These include Pearl Night Start Black, Heavy Gray Metallic, Rebel Red Metallic, Pearl Precious White and Midnight Blue Metallic. The Activa 125 has been updated to be OBD2 compliant. It has a 123.97cc, single cylinder, air cooled engine.
This engine provides 8.18 bhp power at 6500 rpm and 10.3 newton meters of torque at 5000 rpm. It has telescopic front forks and rear spring. It gets 12-inch wheels at the front and 10-inch wheels at the rear.
For braking, drum brakes have been given on both the wheels in the base variant, but in the higher variant, 190 mm disc brake at the front and 130 mm drum brake at the rear have been given. Along with this, a lot of features have been given in Activa 125 which make it better than before.
The new Activa 125 gets LED headlight with LED position light, enhanced smart power technology, idling stop system, side stand engine inhibitor function, combined braking system, semi digital instrument cluster etc.
On the other hand, the H-Smart variant of Activa 125 has been given a smart key system, under which smart find, remote unlock, keyless ignition, anti theft system etc. are available. Along with this, the fuel lid can also be opened with the help of smart key.
The company is also working on an electric version of the Activa which could be unveiled soon. The company was working on the electric two-wheeler with Honda Japan and it will be ready by the end of this financial year.
