2023 BMW X5 Facelift Review: When you think of a BMW X5, the first thing that usually comes to mind is the X5. It has crafted the powerful vehicle that other SUVs of this brand have followed extensively, in such a way that it is on the line of being attractive and luxurious to drive at the same time. But a few years ago when this fourth generation came in, we felt that the focus had leaned a little more towards luxury. But there has been a fairly extensive update mid-cycle. At the same time, its engine has been seen very strong on its fast power delivery and sportier mode.

Most of the visual changes with this update in the BMW X5 are centered around its face. Some of the changes that have been made are effective. The X5 now looks more lean and sharper, the large grille is still quite traditional by current BMW standards, but the backlighting with blue at night covers you for appearance.
Equipped with great features
Features include heated/cold seats, 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio, soft closed doors, internal dash cam for recording, an adjustable head-up display with remote parking via smartphone and more. Now there are more driver assist features available as well. Like removing the climate control button, the central AC vents seem hidden but its controller seems difficult to use.

Although the new vents falter in this regard, they do not have the same weight and maneuverability as the rest of the switchgear. But the 14.9-inch central touchscreen has seen some minor improvements. You now have a much more intuitive home screen and touch climate control has been simplified, eliminating some of our earlier complaints with this system. Also, with the old rotary dial retained, this execution of the iDrive is, perhaps, the best BMW has done at present.
