2022 Audi Q7 Facelift: German car maker Audi India is ready to launch its first car of the year 2022. The company has today announced that the new 2022 Audi Q7 Facelift will be launched in India on February 3, 2022. The Audi Q7 has been a popular three row luxury SUV in India. However, it was discontinued at the beginning of the year 2020 due to BS6 norms. Now after almost 2 years, it is finally back in a new facelifted avatar.

You will get many great features

The new 2022 Audi Q7 Facelift has received a host of cosmetic changes along with new features. In terms of design, the facelifted Q7 SUV gets Audi’s new octagonal grille with six vertical chrome slats, new bumpers, sleeker matrix LED headlamps with signature LED DRLs, 19-inch alloy wheels and all-around body-cladding.

Engine and other features

Globally, the luxury SUV is offered in two diesel engine options along with a turbocharged petrol motor. However, like Volkswagen Group cars in India, it will be offered only with a petrol engine. The new Audi Q7 facelift will be powered by a 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 petrol motor that generates 340 hp power and 500 Nm of peak torque. The engine will come mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox and will also get Audi’s legendary quattro all-wheel-drive system. The motor also gets a 48V mild-hybrid system.

The new 2022 Audi Q7 facelift has been manufactured locally at the Skoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited (SAVWIPL) plant in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. Its booking has already started and one can pre-book this luxury SUV by paying a token amount of Rs 5 lakh. The new Audi Q7 facelift will be offered in two variants, Premium Plus and Technology. When launched, it will rival the likes of Mercedes-Benz GLE, BMW X5, Volvo XC90.
