1441 units of Ola S1 Pro electric scooter recalled, will be investigated, fire broke out last month

Now Ola Electric has recalled 1441 units of its Ola S1 Pro model. The company has said that the battery, thermal and safety related tests will be done in Ola S1 Pro and this is being done for the convenience of the customers. In the past, along with Ola Electric, electric scooters of companies like Okinawa and Pure EV have started coming in and one person has also lost his life in this incident.

Ola Electric issued a statement on Monday saying that we are recalling a total of 1441 units of Ola S1 Pro. An electric scooter of the same batch caught fire in Pune last month. Now Ola Electric will diagnose these scooters and along with safety, will take full care of the safety by thoroughly checking the battery. Ola Electric is also investigating the incident of fire in its scooter. It will be clear in the coming times as to what has caused the fire in the Ola electric scooter.

Nitin Gadkari has formed an expert committee to investigate the incident of fire in electric scooters. If a company is found guilty in the investigation, it will face heavy fines and orders will be given to recall all defective products.
