Realme Book Enhanced Edition Air 14-inch laptop launched in China today, and today Xiaomi has decided to reduce the cost of RedmiBook Pro 14 Enhanced Edition. Xiaomi’s actions are not accidental, as Realme and Redmi devices are similar in characteristics and, in fact, compete with each other. But for the end user, such a local price war is a boon: in the case of the Xiaomi device, it turned into a $110 discount.
The base RedmiBook Pro 14 Enhanced Edition is now available on JD.com for $680, $15 less than the Realme Book Enhanced Edition Air. The device configuration includes an Intel Core i5-11320H processor, 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD. A version with the same parameters, but also a dGPU in the face of the GeForce MX450, is priced at $740. The top variant with a Core i7-11390H processor and a GeForce MX450 costs $900.
RedmiBook Pro 14 Enhanced Edition is made in an all-metal case with a thickness of 16 mm, the weight of the laptop is 1.43 kg. The device is equipped with a screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and coverage of 100% sRGB color space, Wi-Fi 6 adapter, fingerprint scanner, backlit keyboard, USB-C port with Thunderbolt 4 interface and full-size HDMI video output.
