Sales of a large, almost 5-meter Niutron NV crossover have started in China. The front of the car is reminiscent of the brutal Haval crossovers, and buyers can choose from two powertrain options: purely electric and hybrid with a 1.5 engine used to charge the traction battery.
Niutron NV dimensions are 4915 x 1962 x 1745 mm with a wheelbase of 2910 mm. This is a large and spacious crossover inside. Exterior features include door handles hidden in the body and darkened pillars, which creates the effect of a floating roof. The base car has 20-inch wheels.
Niutron NV already has 24 driving assistance systems in the base. Among them are an automatic emergency braking system, adaptive cruise control, lane control, blind spot monitoring and an automatic parking attendant.
Inside, a large 15.6-inch screen with a vertical orientation, a two-spoke steering wheel with a truncated rim, a digital instrument panel, 15-watt wireless phone charger, double-layer glass for better noise isolation and a panoramic roof.
All versions of Niutron NV are all-wheel drive by default. The hybrid version is equipped with 177 hp electric motors. (front) and 190 hp (behind). On one tank, it can travel up to 1257 km (based on measurements using the CLTC method).
The power plant of the electric version is 380 hp, the range with a standard traction battery is 440 km, with a high-capacity traction battery – 560 km (CLTC). Interestingly, regardless of the version – hybrid or electric – the car accelerates to 100 km / h in the same 5.9 s. The company promises to start deliveries of purchased cars in December. Prices range from $39,100 to $44,800.
