10455 mAh, Windows 11, Core i7-1195G7 and 7 inch screen. Onexplayer Mini handheld game console unveiled to compete with Nintendo Switch OLED

The Onexplayer range has been replenished with the Mini game console. The novelty is equipped with a 7-inch display, due to which it is more compact than the usual Onexplayer (it has a screen with a diagonal of 8.4 inches). True, even taking into account this Mini, with dimensions of 260 x 106 mm, it is almost twice as large as Switch OLED. However, both Steam Deck and Aya Neo Next can be written as competitors to Onexplayer Mini.

The Onexplayer hardware platform is based on a quad-core Core i7-1195G7 processor operating at a frequency of 2.9-5.0 GHz. Its TDP can vary from 12W to 28W, but the creators of the console do not specify this parameter.

The integrated GPU based on the Xe-LP architecture with 96 execution units is responsible for graphics processing. However, the Onexplayer Mini has a Thunderbolt 4 interface, so external discrete graphics cards can be connected to this portable console (as in the picture below).

The 7-inch screen is characterized by Full HD resolution – and this is a rarity for these consoles. However, the original Onexplayer uses a panel with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. Despite the fact that this is the Mini version, the battery installed here is decent – its capacity is 10,455 mAh. The package includes a 100W gallium nitride charger.

And now the most interesting – the prices. The base version with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD is priced at $1,260. For this money (if, of course, taking into account the official cost), you can buy a PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch OLED. The 1TB SSD version is priced at $1,400, while the 2TB SSD version is $1,600.
