Samsung has introduced a tablet computer Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro, unlike most other tablets. The novelty has received a protected design – it is not afraid of falling from a meter height and is able to survive a half-hour immersion in water to a depth of 1.5 m (the IP68 protection level is declared for the tablet, it also meets the requirements of the American military standard MIL-STD-810H).
Samsung does not specify the hardware platform, but has previously spoken about the use of Snapdragon 778G SoC in the device. The IPS screen is characterized by a diagonal of 10.1 inches, the resolution is 1920 x 1200 pixels. It is protected by tempered glass Gorilla Glass 5. You can control the device both with gloved hands and with the included stylus (it is also protected from dust and water in accordance with the IP68 degree).
There are two memory options: 4/64 and 6/128 GB (microSD memory cards up to 1 TB are supported). The main camera is a 13MP sensor with autofocus, while the front camera is 8MP.
The battery capacity was 7600 mAh. It is important to note that the battery is removable. Also in the configuration of the device is a 5G modem, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 adapters, an NFC chip, a USB-C 3.2 port, a fingerprint scanner, Dolby Atmos support, and two microphones. Dimensions – 242.9 x 170.2 x 10.2 mm, weight – 674 grams. The cost has not yet been announced, but sales in Europe should begin in September.
