Several players in this plan are working to address the range concern by increasing the density of the charging point. The partnership is for setting up charging stations in NoBroker residential welfare societies (societies that have onboarded the NoBrokerhood Society app).

These include apartments, gated communities and standalone buildings, which will make it more convenient for consumers to use EV charging in their vicinity. Vehicle charging has not only been made accessible, but it has also become effortless.

This is because vehicle owners can scan and make payments instantly or even add EV charging bills to their electricity bills through the NoBrokerHood app. The company says that the whole idea is to make the entire process seamless for the users of the app.

Residents will be able to choose the EV charging options available within the ElectricPe app, book slots to charge their EVs and make payments as per usage. Residents here will also have the opportunity to request the installation of a charging station in their private parking lot after the approval of their RWA.

Saurabh Garg, Co-Founder and CBO of NoBroker, said that “Electric vehicles will soon become the new normal given environmental concerns and government pressure. However, lack of charging points remains a major impediment for vehicle owners to switch to electric vehicles. But it’s coming to the fore.”

He further added, “We are excited to partner with ElectricPe to provide our customers with easy access to charging points. Through this partnership, residents and visitors will be provided with electric charging points, making it clean, affordable and smart.” Electric mobility will get a boost.”

Avinash Sharma, Co-Founder and CEO, ElectricPe said, “We are working towards ensuring a dense network of charging points across India to fulfill the Government of India’s vision of rapid electric mobility. We are delighted to partner with NoBroker.”
