As expected, Huawei today officially unveiled the Watch 3 Pro series of smartwatches. The novelty is called simply – Watch 3 Pro New, and its main feature is to support ECG registration.
The watch is certified by the Chinese regulator as a Class II medical device. The user only needs to hold the button for 30 seconds, after which an ECG report will be generated. The device supports automatic recognition of atrial fibrillation and extrasystoles (both atrial and ventricular).
The watch has an NFC chip and a GPS receiver (works with Petal Maps proprietary mapping service). Due to the built-in SIM card (eSIM), the device can independently make calls and send messages. Of course, there are heart rate and SpO2 sensors, about 100 training modes are supported.
The display is a round AMOLED with a diameter of 1.43 inches. It is protected by sapphire glass. The case is made of titanium alloy, and the back panel is ceramic. The novelty is running HarmonyOS 3.
In normal mode, Watch 3 Pro New lasts 4 days, with active use of the device, autonomy decreases to 2 days, but in power saving mode, the watch can work up to 21 days.
