Chery has finally officially unveiled the Tiggo 2 Pro crossover – the car debuted in Mexico under the Chirey brand. And here, according to the Chinese Cars resource, it may appear under the Omoda brand, then it will become the most affordable crossover of the brand.
The model is not completely new, but updated, while in appearance it looks more like an Omoda car than Chery. Dimensions are 4200 x 1760 x 1570 mm, wheelbase – 2555 mm. The interior has a new front panel with a media system, which includes a screen with a diagonal of 10.25 inches.
The car is based on the old Chery A13 platform, but the power plant is new – a 1.0-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 101 hp. The engine is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission or a CVT. In China, the Tiggo 2 Pro is certified with a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine producing 116 hp. – it is logical to think that this is exactly what will be under the hood of the Russian version of the crossover.
